The LORD, the Keeper of Israel.

¹ I will ^(C1)raise my eyes to ^(C2)the mountains;
From where will my help come?

² My ^(C1)help comes from the LORD,
Who ^(C2)made heaven and earth.

³ He will not ^(C1)allow your foot to slip;
He who ^(C2)watches over you will not slumber.

⁴ Behold, He who watches over Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.

⁵ The LORD is your ^(F1)(C1)protector;
The LORD is your ^(C2)shade on your right hand.

⁶ The ^(C1)sun will not ^(F1)beat down on you by day,
Nor the moon by night.

⁷ The LORD will ^(F1)(C1)protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.

⁸ The LORD will ^(F1)(C1)guard your going out and your coming in
^(C2)From this time and forever.
