Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

² Ascribe to the LORD the glory ^(F1)due His name;
Worship the LORD ^(C1)in holy attire.

³ The ^(C1)voice of the LORD is on the waters;
The God of glory ^(C2)thunders,
The LORD is over ^(F1)(C3)many waters.

⁴ The voice of the LORD is ^(C1)powerful,
The voice of the LORD is majestic.

⁵ The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
Yes, the LORD breaks ^(C1)the cedars of Lebanon in pieces.

⁶ He makes Lebanon ^(C1)skip like a calf,
And ^(C2)Sirion like a young wild ox.

⁷ The voice of the LORD divides ^(F1)flames of fire.

⁸ The voice of the LORD ^(F1)shakes the wilderness;
The LORD shakes the wilderness of ^(C1)Kadesh.

⁹ The voice of the LORD makes ^(C1)the deer give birth
And strips the forests bare;
And ^(C2)in His temple everything says, "Glory!"

¹⁰ The LORD sat as King at the ^(C1)flood;
Yes, the LORD sits as ^(C2)King forever.

^11 (F1)The LORD will give ^(C1)strength to His people;
^(F2)The LORD will bless His people with ^(C2)peace.
