Stanley Lewis Derickson, born on February 19, 1940, in Lexington, Nebraska, is a figure of profound influence in the Christian community, recognized for his unwavering commitment to faith, education, and ministry. The son of George Henry and Mary LeOra Derickson, Stanley's early life in the heartland of America laid the foundation for a lifetime of service to God and humanity.

Derickson's academic journey is a testament to his dedication to theological scholarship and pastoral excellence. He began his higher education at Denver Baptist Bible College, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in 1973. His thirst for deeper biblical understanding led him to Western Baptist Bible College in Salem, Oregon, where he received a ThB in 1978. Not stopping there, Stanley pursued and attained a Master of Theology in 1980, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in 1981, both from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana. These academic achievements equipped him with a robust theological framework and a profound understanding of biblical principles, which he would carry into his varied roles in ministry.

Stanley's career is marked by a rich tapestry of service across different capacities. From 1982 to 1987, he served as a missionary with WEF Ministries, dedicating five years to spreading the gospel and aiding communities in need. His passion for education and mentorship was evident during his time as a teacher at the Frontier School of Bible in LaGrange, Wyoming, from 1987 to 1991, where he influenced countless students with his wisdom and compassion.

Derickson also served in pastoral roles, providing spiritual guidance and leadership as an interim pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon, from 1996 to 1997, and as the pastor of Roberts Community Church from 1999 to 2000. Beyond these appointments, he has continued his ministry as a pastor-at-large since 2000, demonstrating a boundless commitment to pastoral care and evangelism.

Recognized as a notable Minister and writer by Marquis Who's Who, Stanley L. Derickson's contributions to the Christian faith and his community are immeasurable. His life's work reflects a deep devotion to God, a passion for teaching, and a heart for service, leaving a lasting impact on those he has served and mentored.
