Shisha
Holman Bible Dictionary
(sshi sshuh) Personal name or, more likely, an official title borrowed from Egyptian: royal scribe who writes letters. Apparently, “sons of Shisha” (1 Kings 4:3 ) refers to members of a scribal guild. Sheva (2 Samuel 20:25 ) and Shavsha (1 Chronicles 18:16 ) may represent other ways to transliterate the Egyptian title into Hebrew.
