Bill of Rights
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
The name usually given to the solemn declaration of the rights and liberties of English subjects, which also settled the Protestant succession to the British crown, drawn up, 1689, and accepted by William III and Mary before their accession. In the United States the Bill of Rights means the first ten amendments to thc Constitution.
