Coninck, Giles de
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
(also called Regius) (1571-1633) Jesuit theologian; born Bailleul, French Flanders; died Louvain. He held the chair of scholastic theology at Louvain for eighteen years. A moral theologian of distinction, he is noted for his commentary and exposition of the entire teaching of Saint Thomas, and his work concerning morality.
