Haceldama
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
(Aramaic, hagal dema, field of blood)
Name given to the potter's field, purchased with the price of the treason of Judas to be a burial-place for strangers (Matthew 27; Acts 1). Tradition places it south of Mount Sion.
