Richard Creagh
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
Archbishop of Armagh, born Limerick, Ireland; died London, England, 1585. Arrested on account of his faith, he was imprisoned in the Tower of London from 1567 till his death. His jailers unsuccessfully assailed his moral character, and he is said to have died of poisoning.
