Prat. c. 29), followed by George of Alexandria in his Life of Chrysostom, antedates the episcopate of Adelphus by half a century; and, confusing him with the unnamed bishop of Cucusus, by whom Chrysostom was honorably received on his arrival at his place of exile, makes the saint lodge at his house at- Cucusus.
