Altar of Our Lady
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
that altar which stands in the lady-chapel of cathedrals, or in the side- chapel (one of which in most parish churches was anciently dedicated in honor of Mary). Here "Mary mass" was said.
