Arnd (or Arndt), Christian
a German theologian, was born in 1623. He studied at Leyden, Wittenberg, Leipsic, and Strasburg, and taught logic at Rostock. He died in 1653. He wrote, Dissertatio de Philosophia Vetesnumt (Rostock, 1650):-Discursus Politicus de Principiis Constituentibus et Conservantibus Rempublicam (ibid. 1651):-De Vero Usu Logicce in Theologia (ibid. 1650):Programma de Elegantioribus Logices Appellationibus (ibid.).
