a Methodist, Episcopal minister, was born at Grafton, N. H., March 26; 1788. He experienced conversion in early life, and in 1810 entered the East Maine Conference, in which he labored faithfully until 1859, when he became superannuated, and retired to Orono, Me., where he died, May 30, 1868.
