Barber, John
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an English civilian of All Souls', Oxford, who graduated D.C.L. in 1532. He was patronized by Archbishop Cranmer, and assisted in the preparation of the well-known king's book, the Necessary Doctrine of a Christian Man.
