a German librarian, was born Nov. 8, 1690, at Hamburg. He studied at Helmstadt; in 1719 was appointed librarian at Hanover, and died Aug. 19, 1753. He wrote, Beitrdge zur hannoverischen Kirchen-und Schulhistorie (Hanover, 1748): Das Leben Ant. Corvini (ibid. 1749). See Jocher, Allgem. Gelehrte-Lex., s.v.; Winer, Handb. der theol. Lit. i, 797.
