Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Heb, id. בֵּרוֹתָה, as if meaning "to Beroth," or toward the wells; Sept. in most copies has a mass of undistinguishable names, but some read Βηρωθά or Βηρωθάμ; Vulg. Berotha).
