a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Sturbridge, Mass., May 25, 1811. He experienced religion when about eighteen, began his course as a preacher a few years later, and in 1843 was admitted into the Providence Conference, wherein he labored with fidelity, acceptability, and success, until August, 1851, when, after a short illness, he died.
