a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in 1817. He experienced conversion in his youth; entered the Detroit Conference in 1838, and filled many of the best appointments. In 1862 he was appointed chaplain of the twenty-sixth regiment of Michigan Volunteer Infantry, in which office he was very useful and highly honored by the soldiers. He died March 22, 1864.
