a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Springfield, Pennsylvania, April 11, 1825. He joined the Church at the age of thirteen; received license to exhort in 1848; and in 1850 was admitted into the East Genesee Conference, in the active ranks of which he served until his death, January 9, 1859.
