an English Wesleyan minister, was born at Grainthorpe, near Louth, Lincolnshire, in 1801. He was piously trained by Methodist parents, and was converted when fifteen years of age. In 1824 he received his first appointment (Ipswich), and he continued to labor until he was cut off in the midst of his years and usefulness, at Lynn, Nov. 1,1846.
