a Baptist minister, was born in Nova Scotia, January 17, 1756. He united with the. Church at Horton in 1779, and was ordained in 1782. His ministry in Annapolis, Yarmouth, and Queen's counties was greatly blessed. In 1809 he took up his residence in Nictaux, where a Church having been formed in 1810, he was called to be its pastor, which position he held till his death, October 11, 1830.
