an Irish Wesleyan minister, Was born in County Down in 1770 of Presbyterian parents. He entered the work in 17967 endured hardship during the rebellion of 17987 labored long and faithfully; became a supernumerary in 1831, residing first at Newtownbarry and then (1841) at Bideford, where he died, Feb. 6,1855. He was humble, long-suffering, gentle, and meek. See Minutes of the British Conference, 1855; Wesl. Meth.
