Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an English clergyman of the latter part of the 18th century, rector of Wentnor, Shropshire, published a Sermon (1773): and The Preacher's Assistant (Oxford, 1783, 2 volumes). This work contained an account of various preachers and sermons since the Restoration, and is considered valuable as a list of sermons from which the preacher might select for his library.
