a Baptist minister, was born in Dublin, Ireland. He came to Maryland, joined the Methodists, served on the British side in, the war of independence, went to Nova Scotia in 1784, travelled through the province as a preacher; was ordained pastor of a Baptist Church at Ragged Island; removed to Connecticut in 1732, and remained there two years.
