Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an Italian painter, was born at Cremona in 1671, and studied under Pasinelli at Bologna, Where he resided, and painted a number of pictures for the churches there, the best of which is The Adoration of the Magi, in the Mendicanti.
