an English Baptist minister, was born in the Forest of Dean in 1823. He was converted in early life; became a Primitive Methodist preacher for several years; in 1846 changed his views and was publicly immersed; for three years studied theology at Monmouth; settled over the Church at Tetblury; and was ordained in 1850.
