Dawson, Samuel G.
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Baptist minister, was born in Virginia in 1834. He was converted when young; in May 1859, was ordained near Marietta; about four years afterwards engaged in missionary work in East Toledo; was chosen secretary of the convention in January 1875, and died September 5 following.
