a Spanish prelate, was born at Seville, February 24, 1520. He studied at Salamanca, where he obtained a chair as professor of law; afterwards became official of Compostella, auditor of Valladolid, archdeacon of Calatrava, member of the inquisition, and finally president of Grenalaa in 1569.
