Haynes, Samuel, D.D.

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an English clergyman, was educated at King's College, Cambridge, and was tutor to the earl of Salisbury, with whom he travelled, and who in 1737 presented him to the rectory of Hatfield, in Hertfordshire.
