Henich, Johann

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Lutheran divine of Germany, was born January 1, 1616. He studied at different universities, was in 1643 professor of Hebrew at Rinteln, in 1651 professor of theology, and died June 27, 1671. He wrote, Compendium Theologies: De Veritate Religionis Christianes: Histories Ecclesiasticae Partes Tres: Institutiones Theologices: De Gratia et Praedestinatione: De Sanctissimo S. Trinitatis Mysterio: De Veneratione Nominis Divinii Jehovah: De Auctoritate Antiquitatis Ecclesiasticae et Conciliorum: De Bonis Fidelium Operibus.
