Mizpar
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Heb. Mispar', מַסְפָּר , number, as often'; Sept. Μασφάρ), one of the leading Israelites who accompanied Zerubbabel on the return from Babylon (Ezra 1:2), in the parallel passage (Nehemiah 7:7) called by the equivalent name MISPERETH. B.C. 536.
