Pluquet, Francois Andre Adrien
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an ecclesiastical writer of France, was born at Baveux in 1716. He was professor of philosophy at the Collegee e France, canon of Cambray, anid died at Paris in 1790. He published, Examen du Fatalisme (Paris, 1757, 2 volumes): — Dictionaire des Heresies des de us rreurs et des Schismes (1762, 2 vols.): — Essai Philosophique et Politique sur le Luxe (1786): — De la Superstition et de l'Enthusiasme (published after his death, 1804).
