Stock, Simon
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an English monk, who became general of the Carmelites, and is known as an ascetic writer. He died in 1265. He is said to have founded the Brotherhood of the Scapulary in honor of the Virgin Mary.
