a French engraver, was born at Bar-sur-Aube about 1620. He studied at Paris under Daniel Rabel, and then went to Rome, where he resided several years. He engraved several plates from the Italian and French masters, as well as from his own designs. Among the best of these are the following: The Murder of the Innocents: Christ with his Disciples at Emmnaus: Mount Parnassus, all after Raphael: The Holy Family, after Poussin: The Virgin and infant Christ, after Parmigiano: and The Marriage of St. Catherine, after Albano.
