?ebi Hirsch ben Joseph ben ?ebi ha-Kohen
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia
Polish Talmudist of the seventeenth century; studied for some time at Cracow under Yom-?ob Lipmann Heller. He was the author of "Na?alat ?ebi" (Venice, 1661), a commentary on Joseph Caro's Shul?an 'Aruk, Eben ha-'Ezer, and of "'A?eret ?ebi," a commentary on Ora? ?ayyim. ?ebi left several works in manuscript, among which are commentaries on the two remaining parts of the Shul?an 'Aruk.
