Frank, Nathan
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia
American lawyer; member of the national House of Representatives; born in Peoria, Illinois, Feb. 23, 1852; educated in the public schools there, at Washington University, St. Louis, and at the Harvard Law School, from which he graduated in 1871. He has since practised law in St. Louis, and is the author of a work on bankruptcy law. He was the Republican nominee for the 50th Congress, but was defeated; was renominated for the 51st Congress and elected.
