Heilprin, Eliezer B. Mordecai
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia
Polish rabbi; born probably in Yaroslav, Galicia, in 1648; died at F�rth in 1700. He was rabbi successively in Gross Meserit?, Moravia; Tomaszow, Russian Poland; and F�rth, Bavaria. Heilprin was the author of "Sia? ha-Se'uddah," festive discourses delivered on the occasion of finishing the study of several tractates of the Talmud. This work and some of his responsa and novell� are still extant in manuscript (Neubauer, "Cat. Bodl. Hebr. MSS." Nos. 469, 470).
