Scholar of the seventeenth century, of whose life no other details are known than that he was the author of "Ma?ref la-?okmah" (Amsterdam, 1765), a list of the 613 commandments, each being described in eight words beginning with the initials

, which are probably an abbreviation of "Morenu Shemaiah Levi Yi?ye" (Amsterdam, 1765).
