In the letter of Psenosiris, P Grenf II. 73.10 (late iii/A.D.) ( = Selections, p. 118), the ";colourless"; πέμπω is used to denote banishment into the Oasis–τὴν Πολιτικὴν τὴν πεμφθεῖσαν εἰς Ὄασιν ὑπὸ τῆς ἡγεμονίας. See also Preisigke 3815 where the label attached to a body forwarded for mummification runs—Βησοῦς πεμπομένη εἰς Πανῶ (ν) καὶ παραδιδομέονην αηταφιαστῇ τῶο Πανιοσᾶτι (l. παραδιδομένη ἐνταφιαστῇ τῷ Πανισᾶτι).
