פַּרְפַּר (prob. “swift,” from فَرَّ to flee, فرفر to move, to agitate), [Pharphar], pr.n. of a small river, rising in mount Lebanon, and joining the Amana near Damascus. In Geogr. Nub., and now called الفيجة, 2 Kings 5:12.
