He may walk as a carnal or as a spiritual man, Romans 8:1; with God, or in ignorance and sin, Genesis 5:24 1 John 5:21; in the fire of affliction, Isaiah 43:2 , or in the light, purity, and joy of Christ's favor here and in heaven, Psalm 89:15 Revelation 3:4 .
