Penitent, born northern Egypt, c.344;died Arabian desert, 421. After living an evil life for seventeen years at Alexandria, she was miraculously converted at Jerusalem. Retiring into the Arabian desert, she passed her remaining 47 years in penance and solitude. Saint Zosimus discovered her there and administered Holy Communion to her.
