Orator; born Blois, France, 1827; died Havre, 1907. Ordained a secular priest, 1851, he received his dimissorials, 1855, to enter the Dominican novitiate. After preaching the Lenten sermons in Lyons, Monsabré was assigned to Saint Thomas's convent, Paris, where he gave conferences. For several years he preached in the principal cities of France, Belgium, and even in London, conducting retreats, novenas, and triduums.
