Historian, born Bourges, 1607; died Paris, France, 1667. Entering the Society of Jesus, 1623, he taught classes of rhetoric, and philosophy, and for five years filled the chair of theology. Among his principal works are Tirocinium Lingure Graecae, noviceship in the Greek language, La Geographie royale, Royal Geography, and Sacrosancta concilia ad regiam editionem exacta, Royal edition of the sacred councils.
