Mallows. The Hebrew word malluahh, rendered "mallows," R. V. "salt-wort," Job 30:4, is derived from melahh = "salt;" and seems to designate a saline plant—perhaps a species of salt-wort; or perhaps the garden mallow, reared in Egypt, and boiled with meat, is intended.
