biz´tha (Septuagint Μαζάν , Mazán ; also Bazán and Bazeá ): One of the seven eunuchs or chamberlains of King Ahasuerus (Xerxes). It is possible that the name is derived from the Persian besteh, "bound," hence, "eunuch" ( Esther 1:10 ).
