an Italian theologian and writer, died in 1676. He published Roma Subterraneal Noissima (Rome, 1651). This is a translation of an Italian work, in which Bosio gave interesting observations upon the Catacombs, published after his death by Severano; Aringhi has added his own discoveries to the original: Monumenta Infelicitatis, sive Mortes Peccatoru 'Pessimce (ibid. 1664) :-Trinumphus Paenitentie, sive Selectee Penitentium Mortes (ibid. 1670).
