a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born in Twiggs County, Ga., in 1837. He experienced conversion in 1853; received license to exhort in 1857, to preach in 1858, and in the same year entered the Georgia Conference. On Sept. 5, 1866, he was instantly killed by a flash of lightning. Mr. Berry possessed many excellent traits of character. He was unassuming, diligent, amiable, and eminently pious.
