a French theologian, brother of Jean Joseph, was born at Verdun, Aug. 17, 1731; entered the congregation of St. Vannes, of the order of St. Benedict; and died Dec. 6,1807, leaving Recherches Historiques sur l'Esprit Primitif et les Anciens Colleges de l'Ordre de S.
