a Congregational minister, was born in Massachusetts in 1798.. He graduated from Middlebury College in 1822, and from Andover Theological Seminary in 1825 was ordained June 21, 1826; was, pastor at Calais, Maine, from 1828 to 1834; stated supply of the Presbyterian Church at Princeton, Illinois, from 1849 to 1853, and died there, April 23, 1857.
