(סִיר הִבָּשָׂר, sir hab-basar', pot of the .flesh, Exodus 16:3), probably a bronze vessel, standing on three legs, appropriated for culinary purposes among the Egyptians, such as we frequently see represented in the paintings of the tombs, with a fire lighted beneath it. (See POT).
